knock down is no an interupt and traps would not be interupted only by knock down

fact...traps will not be interupted if you are running this. However you have to take into consideration the expensive cost of traps and the fact that mantra takes 7-3 energy everytime it blocks an interupt.

You Automatically stop casting/using whatever skill you were using when knocked down.
it isn't counted as "interupting" you - but it CERTAINLY DOES stop your laying of the trap (or ANYTHING you might have been doing at the time).

I dont understand this spell, If you use this when trapping, and you have 5 wars swinging at you, you will stil be interupted because it only saved you from 1 hit, and it either ends or you lose energy, i think this is pointless, and am currently looking for a better skill to use.

how do you figure it only saves from 1 hit?
If you have 40 energy and lose 3 per hit - You'll have to get hit like 14 times in 2 seconds to get mantra off. Even if your low on energy, it'll take quite a few hits to get it off, and you probably aren't going to be the target of 5 warriors lol - theres easier people for them to kill first

I think you are getting confused between resolve and concentration. Obviously putting points in Inspiration Magic helps.

Fun fact: mesmer interrupt spells will still apply their secondary effect to a user of Mantra of Resolve, even though the spell being cast is not interrupted. In the case of Power Block, this means the spell will be interrupted after all, due to being disabled before casting is completed.
Thankfully, Distracting Shot does not enjoy that benefit, and will have no effect beyond the energy loss.

in some cases resolve does more harm than good
yes it could save you from interrupting but it also be a good way to drain you down

This skill can be very useful on ele spike, where interrupts of medium-length casts can ruin the spike.
